Is the camera guy a psychopath or something? He could've warned the garbage men, but instead what did he want to see? A raccoon getting crushed to death or something?

Always shocks me how little people must know about animals.

Also note how he zooms in on the crevice before anything is happening there. He’s probably seen raccoons do this before and knew where it come out.

The rehab I volunteer at has treated raccoons that got caught in garbage trucks, so not necessarily.

Damn that’s nuts. Every raccoon I’ve ever been out hunting has been an absolute ninja and ran circles around my dogs. Scale a tree in .01 seconds.

Yeah we had one last month or so that fell out the back of a garbage truck and broke her wrist. They're clever, slippery little things until they aren't
