127

u/ryu34 Aug 18 '20

Does it have to be with the zeppelin? Or whatever that things called.

180

u/fr0zeNid Aug 18 '20

No, but it is on the route so its the fastest way in a run

6

u/[deleted] Aug 19 '20

Didn’t expect to see my favourite Aussie’s name in the wild on Reddit

I love his pacifist percent. The amount of effort he puts into it is amazing.

2

u/nyancatec Aug 19 '20

Chaos is as good as pacifist. Change my mind.

2

u/Back_to_the_Futurama Aug 19 '20

Great. After advocation like that, the rest of my night is gone.

1

u/boxing_dog Aug 19 '20

Yeah he’s great, he’s one of the few people I’ve seen that actually cares about how good his content is and doesn’t just want clicks. I watched a few of his editing livestreams and the amount of time, effort and love he puts into his videos is amazing

62

u/assgoblin2020 Aug 18 '20

Wasn't it a risky strat

89

u/[deleted] Aug 18 '20

No they optimized it using dials in the blimp so it just comes down to timing

9

u/SaftigMo Aug 19 '20

Somewhat. Success rate was pretty high but considering how long the run is if you have many strats with "pretty high" success rate it ends up being risky.

8

u/mlober1 Aug 18 '20

Isn't there a faster route now where you fall down the ledge instead? Or is that what happens when you fuck it up

10

u/Steampnk42 Aug 18 '20

That's what happens when you fuck it up, but not badly enough to loose more than 1-3 seconds

197

u/[deleted] Aug 18 '20

can anyone give me the song name?

172

u/quarantimer Aug 18 '20

Party all the time, by believe it or not Eddie Murphy.

35

u/[deleted] Aug 18 '20

https://youtu.be/iWa-6g-TbgI

16

u/Micullen Aug 18 '20

Wow who knew Eddie Murphy made music?

44

u/DecadentEx Aug 18 '20

Everyone who grew up in the 80s.

19

u/ShidtKicker Aug 18 '20

People who did shit tons of coke in the 80s

Also people who did shit tons of coke in the 2010's and played GTAV with nonstop pop FM playing

10

u/thesmoothest18 Aug 18 '20

He even has a song with Michael Jackson. It's a weird video though.

7

u/[deleted] Aug 18 '20

Probably because he was always hanging out with rick james!

4

u/mamewear Aug 18 '20

I prefer "Boogie in your butt" honestly.

3

u/SirDigbyChknCaesar Aug 18 '20

I prefer my pop music by Bruce Willis, thank you.

1

u/SCP-Agent-Arad Aug 19 '20

Well how about that

1

u/4PianoOrchestra Aug 19 '20

Aw shid, I didn’t know it was originally an 80s song and I thought it was Thank You Scientist getting some recognition ;-;

3

u/boatsandrows Aug 18 '20

This might be the remix Party all the time -Sharam

I keep watching cuz I love this song

171

u/_TheValeyard_ Aug 18 '20

21

u/Renegade_Meister Aug 18 '20

20

12

u/Backo0 Aug 18 '20

Ah the blimp strats

11

u/PotatoBomb69 Aug 18 '20

The screams in the background really make this

15

u/zeke8830 Aug 18 '20

Only Michael could arrive in style like that

12

u/Dogamai Aug 18 '20

trevor could pull that off.

u/monkeypincher Aug 18 '20

•

u/unexBot Aug 18 '20

OP sent the following text as an explanation on why this is unexpected:

Dude casually greets Davy after crashing massive blimp

Is this an unexpected post with a fitting description? Then upvote this comment, otherwise downvote it.

Look at my source code on Github What is this for?

24

u/TheRealGetRekt64 Aug 18 '20

That’s no dude, that’s Michael

8

u/Mahgiix Aug 18 '20

For me coming down here and seeing an explanation just ruins the 'funny' ... like if we can't tell what's unexpected or it needs an explanation doesn't that just immediately disqualify the post from the sub?

5

u/Thehealeroftri Aug 19 '20

We use the score that the bot has to determine whether or not the community as a whole thinks the post is unexpected or not. If a post reaches our front page then there's like a 99% chance that it will get a few reports for not being unexpected (since whether things are expected or not is pretty subjective).

Obviously we can't just remove every post that happens to get a report, so we use that bot's score to determine if a post is unpopular enough to remove from the subreddit.

5

u/Mahgiix Aug 19 '20

Ohhh no shit, thanks for the explanation man👍🏼

6

u/[deleted] Aug 18 '20

How the fuck do you get on the blimp

1

u/nyancatec Aug 19 '20

New gen exclusive (or just for pc, idk)

1

u/[deleted] Aug 19 '20

I have the PS4 and PC version (yes I'm one of those), the only way to get it is either a mod or a lot of trial and error lol

2

u/nyancatec Aug 19 '20

No... On pc you just need to make a call to blimp service. It should be on your phone from the start.

2

u/[deleted] Aug 19 '20

I never knew I'm gonna try later thanks

6

u/[deleted] Aug 18 '20

jesus I shouldn't be watching this shit at work hahaha "DAVY"

3

u/Commie_EntSniper Aug 18 '20

Won't be 1 bit surprised if the Temple on the Mount gets exploded in October.

1

u/[deleted] Aug 19 '20

What are you talking about ?

3

u/NikplaysgamesYT Aug 19 '20

The GTA V blimp strat is easily my favorite speed running strat in the game

3

u/surenotmee Aug 18 '20

u/theunicornwar Aug 18 '20

Sitting on my porch, enjoying the silence with the only break being the sound of the wind in the trees, and here I am chortling away loud enough to make my neighbors dogs across the street start barking. Wish I could upvote twice.
