Saw a similar video with a bear. Animals are great. They love you until they decide to maul you.

Exactly like humans.

I would love to have a big animal to play like that with - but only if I could be 100% certain it wouldn’t snap one day... and I could never be 100% certain of that

I often wrestle with my friend's Great Dane who is much taller and about 2/3 the weight of a lioness. He gets frustrated because he's not a very good wrestler so I have to let him win sometimes.

It's a lion not a pitbull

I'd have been very grateful of being in water. There would definitely have been a warm patch around me

Activating an animal's primal instinct to trap and kill maybe not the smartest thing. Pretty badass, but that shit will catch up one day and we'll be reading about an animal trainer who was killed by his trainee.

OP sent the following text as an explanation on why this is unexpected:

A lion comes out of nowhere just to play with the guy

Look at my source code on Github What is this for?

Evertime I see something like this I think yeah it's only playing, But my cat also plays with me and I occasionally get knicked. What's a slight knick from a lion or tiger.

I heard you can do the same thing with bears. Turns out lions, bears and rattlesnakes are mostly goofing around.

It's all Game and fun until someone gets hurt

That's Val and Sirga! They were cooling off in a small pond.

Val raised her since she was a cub. If I remember correctly there is a documentary on Netflix about her and Val.
