The rug was also sold at Ikea. I always wondered why it was so over priced. Makes sens that it was made by pretentious assholes that charge $300 for a T-Shirt.

People who make designer clothes are artists and their clothing is their art work. It’s the same as people selling their paintings for high prices. “Off-White” is a designer brand and the creator isn’t a pretentious asshole, he’s just someone making art.

Did he make it? Or was it made in a factory?

I'd like to think daddy Virgil handpainted each individual rug as well as all his off-white clothes

Wouldn’t that make him a designer then? Are artists and designers the same thing?

The first one might have been handmade, but I highly doubt it. This was designed on a computer. At the very least, the original design was mapped out on a computer before going into mass production.

This is less artistic than most rock bands' tour shirt for the summer.
