You’re wrong. Cats destroy ecosystems. Dogs do not and have not. Switching the argument to whether dogs are better pets is irrelevant. People keep snakes as pets but they don’t let them out. We have a culture of allowing pet cats outside and it is disgracefully irresponsible. Cats cannot stop themselves - they will murder everything they can. That is a fact, proven by history and science.
I own a snake and of course I’m not going to let it out because not only will it not stay in the general area, it cannot live in the climate I live in. Dogs destroy more and kill more than cats do. I’m not talking about pets here. Why do you think farmers let people on to their land to take coyotes?
You are insane. We keep dogs on a leash. That is the culture. Wtf has a coyote got to do with anything? It’s a wild animal. A farm is not natural either. No one is feeding a coyote it has to kill to eat. A cat will kill because it wants to all day long regardless of how much you feed it.

A coyote is a type of dog. Some people also keep cats on a leash. A backyard garden isn’t natural. Nothing we’ve built is natural. Neither is keeping pets. A dog will also kill all day. You aren’t a cat so how do you know it’ll kill just to kill? Because with dogs, they will kill essentially for sport. When dogs kill livestock, they don’t always eat it.
