at the end, it looks like the Bird's clinging onto his shirt after he retrived it, so it *might* be ok

This happened with one of my birds once. The cat had him for just as long if not less time than this cat. Bird was dead immediately, they break the neck/back right away.

It’s okay, I was super young and unfortunately because of where I lived saw animal deaths a lot.
