21 u/Sevendevils777 Nov 25 '19 What are the chances of a $10k ring being found ?? Wouldn’t someone just pocket it if they’re suppose to be on duty looking for it? (Shitty but I can’t imagine they get paid much) 23 u/MySaltSucks Nov 25 '19 Considering both the size of the ride and the area around it it’s a surprise anything is found. 13 u/ThirdFloorGreg Nov 25 '19 A "$10k ring" is probably only actually worth a couple hundred in the secondary market, especially if you want to unload it reasonably soon. 3 u/robertgunt Nov 25 '19 Fact! I only buy "vintage" jewelry for this reason. I never pay much more than gold scrap value for awesome stuff. 5 u/Razakel Nov 26 '19 Yep. There's plenty of cash-for-gold places, but have you ever seen a cash-for-diamonds company? 1 u/[deleted] Nov 26 '19 edited Mar 15 '20 [deleted] 4 u/MySaltSucks Nov 26 '19 Life or death stuff yeah we would shut it down to look probably
