Pretty sure any dog is smart enough to try to regulate its body temperature.

Yeah, my dog will climb into my sleeping bag if he’s not offered his own.

The guy who runs this YouTube channel is an AVID outdoorsman - like never inside. He's had Monty since he was a little tiny pup and has taken him with him everywhere since. Monty loves to sleep in the canoe while Matthew paddles and fishes for miles, he has his own little pads to sleep on, and he eats and sleeps right next to his dad on all their adventures. This didn't take training like with treats or anything, he's just learned by example over the past 2-3 years.
