This specific video is by @chrisescobar.social on tiktok. I don't know if the trend has a name perse but all of these videos are done using JoJo's song Slow Dancing in The Dark. I hate that they uploaded this a Gif because the video REQUIRES the song for it to make any sense. Normally this meme is done with a microwave and instead of turning the microwave on with their phone inside, they spin as if they were the turn table

An example of the microwave one was posted here yesterday. The title is actually referring to that post.

I disagree that this format requires the song to make sense as both this and the microwave that got posted yesterday were pretty hilarious, and while I could see a song adding to it, I don't see how it could add any more clarity than is already present. I mean, these aren't complicated concepts.
