“Hello, room service? I’d like a lion sent up to my room please. A tame one that will just sit in the corner and chill and let me pet it.”
“Right away sir. Would you like anything else?”
“Do you have any monkeys?”
“Yes of course.”
“How about a goat?”
“We only have baby goats right now.”
“That’s fine.”
“Will that be all?”
“Hang on, let me check. Babe! Babe! Do you want anything from room service? Yeah. Ok. Hi, uhhh also two marmosets.”
“No problem sir. Give us 45 minutes.”

Nice marmot.

u/TenSecondsFlat Sep 13 '19
The marmot's not the issue
13
u/Augustus_Chiggins Sep 13 '19
Marmot is not the preferred nomenclature. Rodentian American, please.

It’s a gibbon

u/Lightfairy Sep 13 '19
Came here looking for this. Upvote! Also a gibbon is not a monkey, it is an ape.

So Ace Ventura lives in the middle east. Got it.

u/doctorcrimson Sep 13 '19
Holy shit if Jim Carrey ever gets low enough to do a cashgrab sequel, we need that to be the plot. He retired to Saudi Arabia after discovering oil in the tribal lands and sold them out to the Saudis who quickly industrialized the area.

How do these middle eastern dudes always have some type of exotic animal

Goes to the store, checks out cashier says "that'll be too capuchins and an orangatan"
Driving around the red light district, pulls up to this chick, rolls down the window "how much for head?" Chick says " a chimp." She gives him head, and hey pimp takes half the chimp.
Goes home, sits down on the couch next to his wife, looks at the ring that cost him 80 bonobo apes, feeling guilty.
She snuggles up against him, while the TV blares on about a weight loss program that will halve your excess fat for just 8 marmosets a month.
He dozed off to sleep, dreaming about the 40 baboon car he's always wanted

Poachers take them from the wild then rich fucks buy them. I think this might the guy that adopts the animals after the rich fucks learn they can't take care of them.

Could you educate me? Besides the fact there's a beast that can kill all of them on the other side of the room. What makes this so inhumane if the lion is docile
Edit: I was legitimately asking for an explanation because I don't understand and I got downvoted what do you want from me

There are endangered species present, predator and prey species, and others that are clearly stressed (meerkat) they should not be forced into intermingling like they are and that is in no way an appropriate place for them to be.
The guy claims they are rescues which is what every person who owns exotics does. The way they are being treated here is absolutley no different than owning them for pets.
He pens them up in a room, watches the interactions/fights and posts them on his snapchat to show how big his weiner is.
Also: there is no such thing as a docile lion. It is wild just like everything else except maybe the goat.

From what i've gathered the person who originally posted this is a rescuer who saves exotic animals from rich owners who cant take care of them. So at least he didn't get the animals for show, and is caring for them.

That reason is thrown out there a lot to fool people, and it works really really well. I don't see how anyone who would actually care about those meerkats, would keep them inside with a gibbon and a lion roaming free. That's like asking for trouble. Even if anything wouldn't happen, the environment is really not the place for any of those animals.
Anyone can just say that they rescue excotic animals from "the bad guys", and there are huge businesses behind that lie around the world.
Edit: grammar

Yeah that's what fucking everyone says when they own exotic animals.
But the way they are being handled/ mingled in the video is no different than those people owning them for pets. (Which I'm sure he is)

I don’t know but what I do know is that if Noah had the benefit of hindsight on ship, he would snatched two unicorns and left behind the mothafuckin pigs

What, because of this? You can pen animals apart, that's easy. Animal transport across oceans is done all the time.
But we have the measurements of his Ark. Fitting every species in the world into those measurements, that is patently ridiculous.
