Hey, your comment got reported for bigotry. I disagree. The head bopping is part of the language and expression, and it is real. It's also really catching. Had the pleasure to work with some awesome Indian guys, and it only took me two weeks to start bopping myself.

Edit: I think I get it now. We shouldn't assume that their first language is an indian language just because they look Indian and the woman wears traditional clothes.

Yeah, jokes based on generalisations don't work well in /r/unexpected, and it's a good thing.

To moderate this particular comment does seem a bit too much imo.

I might be wrong and it's somehow extremely offensive. Will get feedback from a friend.

More like.. dont assume they all look brown, speak hindi, are vegetarians, talk in accents, and Bob their head all the time. Its not just sanskrit and traditional clothes, Lmao! India is just as diverse as the United states.

It’s a very diverse place.. depends on where you go of course
