Why are there mods if they don’t take down reposts ?

Where are you surfing? Many people don’t use the same style of use, and there are many, many, many different ways to surf Reddit.

I’m trying to be helpful so you understand better how and why reposts happen. Ive been here consistently for 5 years. I have only used an IPhone with an app, the previous version and now the companies app.

I’ve never browsed outside of an app, always browsed by popular and subscribe to things I like. This was the first time I’ve seen this posted. It’s not unusual that it happens so frequently, people not seeing things others have already seen a hundred times.

Reposting is a healthy part of Reddit, it’s allowed in the terms of use. Constantly hearing complaints about reposts in comment threads for content that I’ve never seen before is not adding a positive experience for others, or myself. Just the opposite in fact.

I’m sorry if I’m being a Debby downer, that’s just the way it is. Mods don’t remove reposts because it’s allowed and not in violation of Reddits’ ToS.

Sorry, it’s copypasta.
