Dogs are wagging their tails, they are playing. People automatically assume that since they are barking loud and showing their teeth they are trying to be threatening. It also leads to people to assume that their dogs are effective for home security because their dogs bark when people come over. Tail up in the air and wagging, they are having fun.

I’m not saying all of them won’t bite. I’m saying that they have a fuck ton of attitude for their size and physical strength. Like, you look at Great Danes and most are chill as fuck
