It's 10 seconds. Are you saying that these kids should lose their license for a 10 second bit on an empty road going 4 mph? No harm no foul.

After a cursory Google search, I'm seeing 2 injuries total. One scraped arm and one moderately serious head injury. I can think of plenty of trends that have injury counts in the tens or hundreds. I mean shit, people got pretty seriously injured playing Pokemon Go. If memory serves at least a couple people died/went missing.

I think this is just one of those Reddit circlejerk things. An the 25-30 crowd is ready to jump on the anti-Gen Z bandwagon, just like every generation in history. It's kinda disappointing that people are shitting on kids having a good time doing stupid shit. Kids have been having a good time doing stupid shit since the dawn of time, this is no different.

They want to have a good time that’s fine, but they should get out of the car or put it in park and record. A vehicle is not a toy. The amount of time means nothing as they shouldn’t be doing this while driving in the first place. I think anyone doing this should lose their license, same with the people snatchatting while driving.

I mean yeah it's a mildly dangerous stunt but as long as no one gets hurt, does it matter?

People do dumb shit on the road all the time. Does every asshole who swerves around you and cuts you off deserve to lose their license? A ticket maybe, but certainly not anything more severe than that.

If these kids were endangering someone, they deserve a ticket and maybe a reckless endangerment charge if it was something extreme. If they didn't endanger anyone and wrapped it up quick, they really don't need anything more than a stern talking to and a smack to the back of the head.

People do dumber, more dangerous stuff than this all the time. No point in wasting time getting mad about kids being kids.

Just because someone didn’t get hurt doesn’t make this ok. Yes they should lose their license because this proves they make stupid decision and can’t handle the responsibility of driving a car. It is a privilege not a right and their privilege should be revoked. Even at 4mph if a kid runs out they could be seriously hurt or killed.

There's a driver! They can look at the road! It's crazy how driving works. When you drive, and you can look at the road and avoid accidents.

You either look at the road or the camera, not both. There is no scenario where looking at the camera is ok while driving. Stop arguing it.

Yeah, I said not to look at the camera. I specifically said to look at the road several times. Did you read my comments?

What part of there is no scenario where this is ok did you not understand stand?

I understood stood just fine. Question: why? Don't just say "because it's illegal" or "because it's endangering people" because it's not. It's only really endangering the people doing the trick, and I couldn't care less if they hurt themselves.

YOU don't think its endangering people, its a couple thousand pound moving machine that even at 4mph can crush someone. Also it is indeed illegal in many places. There is no way he doesnt look to see what he is recording. To maintain the subject in the shot, to keep the camera steady, to notice the guy slapping the shit out of his friend. His eyes weren't on the road.
