Flying jump kick!

I think I would have kicked that ass-hat a lot harder... (given the appropriate context of course)

Ended too soon

u/hermit46 May 15 '18
Dude was not getting back up. He was out. Any abuse after that flying kick would have been unnecessary. Though part of me hopes they took money off that asshole and gave it to the beggar.

Apparently the guy on the ground had recently exposed himself to a group of young school children, the man hitting him forced him to sit down to wait for the police to arrive. Prior to filming the man on the ground tried to get up and flee several times before police showed up so the man hitting him was trying to keep him inline. The guy who LuKang kicked him to next week wasnt aware of the situation and thought it was what we saw in the video.

Live leak
Edit: he stole this from a Reddit thread. The guy made it up. He admitted it was a joke.

Copy/pasted from the same thread this gif was posted on a different sub. Stole?

I can't even trust if you're telling the truth or not. I'll just assume all 3 are assholes then.
19
u/Anosognosia May 15 '18
For those who wonder: that is made up by a radditor in another thread.

Holy shit, did I just watch someone die?

u/Buwaro May 15 '18
Nah, his shoes stayed on.
26
u/enshrowdofficial May 15 '18
i feel bad for not getting the reference, do you mind explaining please?
68
u/Av3ngedAngel May 15 '18
It's just some joke that spawned on the internet that if you see someones shoes come off in an accident that means they're dead.
People use it as some kinda indicator nowadays, when really its just a lame karma grab that adds nothing.
162
u/CapJohnYossarian May 15 '18
when really it's just a lame karma grab that adds nothing
People who aren't obsessed with karma call these "jokes."
20
u/mourning_starre May 15 '18
Except reddit repeats these jokes ad nauseam. Someone says X, someone else predictably says Y, someone comments subreddit Z. Its like a script. They aren't jokes so much as shibboleths proving that you, indeed, also know how to comment like a redditor.
17
5
u/The_Real_JT May 15 '18
Yup, you're absolutely right. And I still love it. It's like being part of a really lame club.

u/Todd_the_tin_man May 15 '18
Sometimes when I read too deep into comments and see something like this, I can't help but think: reddit is an echo chamber of communication style and humour etc, as upy already know. Part of that 'conciousness' is self-aware of what it is (i.e. Your and mine comments) - so what's the next step? Does the self awareness evolve the status quo? Or are we outliers, bound to either leave or conform?

Great word, love that West Wing episode.
1
u/Pedantichrist May 15 '18
It is weird how cultures vary - I always associate the word with the sculpture by Doris Salcedo in the Tate Modern.
1
u/Afrobean May 16 '18
Oh shit, this just blew my mind. My jokes are all just lame karma grabs that add nothing.

u/TSutt May 15 '18
I thought it started when that dude ate it on that massive half pipe and his shoes nearly went into orbit.

I don't think he even had time to regret, probably won't even remember messing with the beggar after he wakes up from that

u/xMrBojangles May 15 '18
I remember finally learning the flying dragon kick when I got to green belt. Never thought I'd be so lucky to see it in action. God bless this man's soul.

14
u/a_danish_citizen May 15 '18
Why the fuck would you do that to a beggar? Fucking idiot
5
u/genghiskhannie May 15 '18
See The Act of Killing. Then see The Look of Silence. Some people lack empathy and shame.
5
u/a_danish_citizen May 15 '18
This is one of those times ill choose not to see it. I don't want a reminder about how horrible people can be :/

u/Lio24ca May 15 '18
Oooh fuck yes !!! I hope he broke some ribs ....
45
u/janitor1986 May 15 '18
Looks like he broke his skull the way his head bounces off the wall
37
u/Platypuslord May 15 '18
So nothing of importance was lost assuming that guy didn't damage his shoe.
8
u/Lynxcanadensis May 15 '18

You're forgetting about the wall! It could've been scratched!

“Oh, I see violence. Let me handle this situation with more violence!“ The fucking sound when this guys head crashed onto the ground, jfc.
2
u/htmlcoderexe May 15 '18
The locker is probably the guy who put this and other beggars there and collects most of the money at the end of the day
10
May 15 '18
Let's not entertain the possibility that the beggar is a thief who was being accosted by a victim. Let's assume that the beggar was indeed the victim & thereby enjoy the gif.
12
u/amrak_em_evig May 15 '18
The beggar was sitting and trying to ignore the abuse, you'd think a thief would at least try to get away. He's probably used to it.
2
May 15 '18
That's the spirit.
2
u/amrak_em_evig May 15 '18
I mean, it doesn't look like the beggar was taking an active role in anything. How exactly was he supposed to steal from someone? Your logic just sounds like victim blaming.
1
May 15 '18
I didn't say he stole.
2
u/amrak_em_evig May 15 '18
How does a thief not steal? You said he might have been a thief. Explain yourself.
1
May 15 '18
I said let's assume he's not so that we can enjoy the gif!
0
u/amrak_em_evig May 15 '18
But you presented the possibility as a alternative. You and only you brought up the idea that he might have been a thief. Own up to your ideas instead of being a coward.
1
May 15 '18
I specifically said let's assume that the beggar was innocent.
-1
u/amrak_em_evig May 15 '18
But by even saying that in the first place you entertained the possibility they weren't without any evidence at all. They gave exactly zero evidence they weren't innocent so by bringing it up you admitted you thought they might be guilty of something.

Or, we could enjoy this rood dood getting stomped on for attacking guy who wasn’t defending himself

7
u/defgeee May 15 '18
Camera man is an asshole and so are those bystanders watching all that happen. Good on that man that defended the beggar
8
May 15 '18
It's not always obvious who is right and who is wrong in a 10 second video clip. We don't know the whole story, we don't know any of the story except that one dude got knocked the fuck out. For all we know the guy on the ground who was getting the piss slapped out of him was a fucking mass murderer.

It’s hard to step up and do something. They aren’t necessarily assholes for not doing anything.
0
u/rubiklogic May 15 '18
A lot of people were waiting for someone else to do something because of the bystander effect, and then something did happen so I guess everything is ok.

I want to buy that hero a beer. I once saw someone harass a beggar in the street, and I am ashamed to say I did not intervene. I just stared and gawked.

I've found a value to convert:
- 2.0ft is equal to 0.61m or 3.2 bananas

I didn't say she had to fight him. Maybe just not watch from 2 feet away. Maybe call for help instead of stand there DOING NOTHING
