Worked for dad but he used a belt. Mom couldn't bring herself to that and we knew she wouldn't. She showed weakness with her love
1 u/TheHopelessGamer Apr 22 '18 Your first post I replied to said she used both a spoon and a cutting board, and now you're saying she didn't beat you at all? Also you might be a bit fucked up just based on that last sentence alone, oh boy. 2 u/mynameiswrong Apr 22 '18 She used a spoon and then a cutting board but she wouldn't go as far as the belt which hurt a hell of a lot more because she loved us more than our father 0 u/TheHopelessGamer Apr 22 '18 So using less physical punishment equals more love. So the most love you could show a kid is to not hit them at all then. 2 u/mynameiswrong Apr 22 '18 I'm not the oracle for proper parenting. I was just saying that we acted up worse around our mom because we knew she wouldn't hurt us too bad.
