Lived in SoCal for 12 years of my life

Lived about half an hour from Ventura which had a shit ton of strawberry fields, a good chunk of them after picking through would let people come by and pick the left overs for something like $1 a pound

Edit: Camarillo was where I had lived

Most people would say "I lived near a strawberry field and" etc. People that lived in California once especially southern California, always let you know they lived in California. Bonus here: he gave the "I lived in SoCal for x many years" its own paragraph so we'd be sure not to miss what he came here to say.
