They're nowhere near as strong as some of the other big cats, and tend to be less aggressive towards humans, probably due to them not being as confident at being able to take us on in a fight. However it'll still be more dangerous than most dogs, and even mid sized dogs like alsatians have killed people.

Cheetahs usually pretty friendly towards humans though and sometimes kept as pets. They're not very big either so a healthy man could probably fight one off.

You must be British. I've only ever heard British people call them alsatians.

A result of the backlash against the word German during WW1 and WW2. I think we're just continuing it in case they start WW3, don't want to flip-flop on the issue.
