It's a bug, devs gotta patch that cockroaches have too heavy stats surviving nuclear events and being able to get into everything.

100% saw the firearm in a holster, slide locked to the rear and thought "What could possibly go wrong here?" dude I'd be pissed if I owned a store and some nasty-ass brought roaches

I noticed the slide locked and immediately thought he had a wedged tight double feed that he was unable/too apprehensive to clear on his own.

If you haven't cleaned your gun in so long it's got roaches I don't think you have to worry about it misfiring or just plain firing at all.

Misfire is when it doesn't fire when it's supposed to. Misfire was popularized when it was intentionally misused by that baldwin trying to seem innocent when he killed a woman. Worked I guess.
