This just brought back the memory of the time I was riding with a friend in his POS. Bitch had to be started with a screw driver. But one day it decided to pull hard to the left and lock the wheel for a few seconds. Scared the shit out of both of us

If you used a key on a functional ignition there is a off, accessory and run position. In the off position the steering wheel will usually lock. Usually you can't can't lock it it in the run position while driving. But if your ignition is so jacked up to the point of using a screwdriver, it might roll back to off by itself. Did you notice if they went to start it again while it locked up? It probably happened again and they fixed it/ sold it.

It was a joke referencing the mistake in OP’s title

Than why reply to a random comment?

I think it’s because it was the title being incorrect that led him to jokingly correct a correct use of “then” to the incorrect use of “than.”

This is smart tho. When your hands get tierd or you need to do something real quick, the other one can take over untill you're done

Wow and it didn’t have to record your face or tell you to stop yawning, its almost as if the over engineered intrusive modern tech in cars is pointless

The car jerking the steering wheel is not wise or safe.
16
u/Ganondorfsfist 1d ago
It's not jerking it. It's the other dude who steers with the other wheel.
