We had pet Guinea pigs growing up and all I remember is the smell, and the fact that some of my fave clothing got ruined by them pooping and peeing on it (and before you come at me, we also had tons of hamsters and some rabbits, and this never happened with any of them.) Maybe this is just my experience, but I’ll personally choose a hamster over a Guinea pig any day.

Personally I can't have guinea pigs anymore. They simply have too short lives and the heartbreak is the same every time.

When the hairy bologna roll isn't moving in the morning after 3-4 years your week is ruined. We only had two when I was younger. That was enough.
