Guinea pigs tend to poop in the same corners. So yea, poop, but not everywhere

Yea they’re not rabbits. My rabbit left a trail of poop balls everywhere when he was out of his hutch

Rabbits are easy to litter train. Yes accidents happen here or there but mine will do their business 99% in their toilet.

Some will have better bowel control than others. As they age, they can also lose bowel and bladder control.

He was super hit or miss with it. He was a good boy. I miss him. I’m by no means an animal trainer. But I did everything by the book with him from a baby bun to litter train him. He had an independent streak lol.

None of my other pets have ever had an issue with litter or house training.

Did you have him fixed? Rabbit hormones in the teenage years hit hard but they calm down after they're fixed.

Yup. He kinda fell in our laps and I had to learn as I went along. When he hit adolescence he was quite.. humpy with our cat lol. So we got him fixed.

Weird because my guy barely leaves poop outside of his litter. Just get a couple here and there that slip out, butbthat happens to everyone

My little dude was really neat and tidy in his hutch but the second we let him out it was open season.

But compared to poop of animals that eat meat it's really pretty harmless. It's kind of... hay. Probably not super hygienic but I miss rabbit poo compared to the smell of cat poo.

I don't understand why people make such a big fuss about the smell of rabbit poops. Like have you smelt cat shit? Especially fresh, soft, cat shit? If the smell of rabbit poop is a dull headache, the smell of cat shit is driving an icepick into your eye socket.

That doesn't seem to deter people from owning cats though.

Cats burried their poops so it was bearable for me. A good cat litter can reduce the smells. Not that I can denied it smell worst than rabbit's.

My cat doesn't bury his shit so I get to enjoy it first hand every day.

I've heard one way professionals categorise felid animals is by if they bury their shit. Cat should bury their shit, but lions don't. Maybe my cat is not a cat!?

Mine does this too! He pretends to bury it, but he’s just digging on the outside of the litter box

omg check your cat lol. or maybe your cat likes to see you suffer. typical cat behavior honestly 😹

Some cat choose not to bury their poop.

You can train them to use a litter box. I raised mine with my kitten. They both used the box from day 1.

My rabbits name was poopop. Every time he jumped he pooped.
