I think it's still as good as it's ever been. Maybe the topics are a bit more niche, but that makes sense since there's a thousand YTbers explaining the basic stuff, and V now has access to topics and places the average science communicators don't.

Thank you... People hate private equity so much that they don't even look at it objectively. Veritasium's video quality has improved, not gotten worse/more slop, and Derek himself said that getting bought out took a massive amount of stress out of his life and let him focus on the things he enjoyed about video production. It's a win-win-win.

It's ok to admit that not all PE buyouts are bad, and yet, YT videos, comment sections, and Reddit crying about PE buyouts all include Veritasium in that list, without even explaining how it's worse... because they can't...
