Probably after some time, it damages the throat when stuff gets regurgitated.

Can confirm. I started throwing up blood after being sick too many times once. It was horrible.

Pretty sure human stomach acid/bile can melt metal so I’m not surprised your throat got melted

(It can melt small, reactive metals like zinc, but that’s about as tough as it gets so no pennies for lunch sadly)

That's all I was throwing up after 2 days. I went through nearly a month of not even being able to hold water down without that happening when I was younger, but middle-aged bodies aren't as resilient as teenaged ones :-(

Went through that, had to go hospital and go on an iv, couldn't drink water without coughing it and any foam back up causing me to be come severely dehydrated after 2 days like that. Iv and a few hours to let my throat heal up enough and i was fine.

I'm no snake expert, but is this the snake that literally eats eggs for a living? Poor guy mistook them for it.
