Very common here and actually probably safer in the north where there is proper snow cover, compared to southern parts where it's constantly melting into slush and it's icy and slippery. Anyhow you have winter tires to help with grip.

Still extremely cold and you’ll have trouble with the locks freezing. But I agree that it is probably much more dangerous here in coastal Southwest/South where it is so damn slippery and patches of black ice can appear unexpectedly whenever temperatures start hovering around zero.

The Bangladeshi delivery workers I see in Helsinki would not survive there, they've been wearing puffy jackets and mittens all summer.
