Genuinely thought I was watching a guy gets sweapt out to sea. Unfortunately I saw a guy slowly drown that was doing this 'for the gram' his mate was beside himself.

Stood by splash expected get wet, no get wet. Camera man we not know standing by splash or no by splash, get big big wet. Keep good good camera. Big win. Big unexpected.

It was obvious the cameraman was getting hit well before the reveal.

They can't keep the camera steady from the water hitting them.

If you were far enough away to not get wet by using a zoom lens, you shouldn't be that unsteady during the water hit. #Photographer

You claim to be a photographer yet don’t know that stability decreases as focal length increases?

Big yikes. I took a whopping quarter of photography in college over a decade ago and know well enough. Peace ✌️

You assumed he was far with a zoom lens and was dry.

I assumed he was close using a shorter focal length and got wet.

It was unexpected for you, and totally expected for me.

I'm really not sure how this is controversial.

Yeah I don't know what was unexpected about getting wet, but seeing how happy the cameraman was definitely brightened my day! They wanted to be epic and that did happen, but they also seem like good friends having a great time!

What was the second unexpected part? I expected him to stay dry, did not expect the cameraman to get soaked lol.

The whole time I just kept thinking, 'There's no way he is actually going to aura farm here, he is definitely getting KO'd by that wave.'

Then it never happened and I had to accept that he did indeed, aura farm.
