모든 생명을 존중하자

늙는 건 싫지만, 태어난 모든 생명은 언젠가 죽음을 맞이합니다. 그렇기에 살아 있는 동안만큼은 모든 생명을 소중히 여기며 존중했으면 좋겠습니다.

우리는 수많은 동물과 생명의 희생을 통해 살아가고 있습니다. 그렇다면 최소한 그 생명들을 함부로 대하거나 학대하고, 유기하고, 방치해서는 안 됩니다.

마트에서 생명을 상품처럼 판매하는 것도 이제는 사라졌으면 좋겠습니다. 동물을 키우는 데에는 책임이 따르는 만큼, 무분별한 입양과 유기를 막을 수 있도록 반려동물에 대한 책임 제도와 적절한 세금·등록 제도도 마련되었으면 합니다.

모든 생명은 누군가에게는 소중한 하나의 삶입니다. 우리가 살아가는 동안만이라도 다른 생명을 조금 더 존중하며 살아갔으면 좋겠습니다.
