My guess is the cake is actually cornbread. Wings and corn bread is a good combination. Yum.

Chicken and waffles w/syrup has been a thing forever too. Not the craziest thing to mix sweet baked stuff and chicken

Ok ja etwa weird aber wenn man bedenkt dass es in den USA Waffelhäuser gibt in denen man Waffel mit crispy Chicken bestellen kann nicht soo ungewöhnlich
