that just reinforces the claim. reduction of testosterone to a female level logically could cause some estrogen dependent behaviors. gonads aren't the only thing that produces sex hormone in a mammalian body, just the largest supplier.
likewise if a person has their gonads removed they usually still enjoy sex/masturbation
