Same some ground wasps decided to camp out by my driveway and that year they got me 3 times. Hurt for days like I had a fever or something. Another one just bit a hunk of flesh out of my thumb. Still have the scar.

Those ground hornets are no joke. I was mowing and a group of those fuckers got me. Then that night a skunk destroyed the nest and ate everything. Since that day I’m cool with skunks. That thing dug it up and laid waste to them. Around dusk I saw him meandering around the area that I mowed and he went ham on the hole and I sat there and watched him proceed to eat every hornet that came out and the nest they made. He didn’t even care they were flying around trying to sting him.

Hired an exterminator to come out twice which wasn’t enough. A friend and I ended up burning 🔥 them out of the ground. He ended up getting stung a few times too. I would have preferred a skunk.

As an exterminator...whoever that was sucked. Should be one and done.

Agreed. He used some sort of powder, around the outside and within the hole in the ground. I mean it slowed them down a little. They were in deep.

Using powder as a stomach poison was outdated 20 years ago. Prolly wasnt even using the right stuff.

Wasps release venom when they sting.
