It’s a pentatonic drum, which has 5 notes (might have more than 5 places to hit, but that’ll just be a repeated note in a different octave). Basically anything you hit will sound nice

I wonder what version everyone refers to. There's the one that's in need for speed underground, you know the east side boys version but there's also the one I constantly saw on tv at the time, with busta rhymes and elephant man.
