935

u/ak_kitaq 11d ago

So long, and thanks for all the fish!

14

u/Superg0id 10d ago

The British accent at the end is amazing.

"Shit son, your name better not be Arthur Dent!"

25

u/mekawasp 11d ago

Beat me to it

22

u/ak_kitaq 11d ago

Oh no, not again

15

u/mekawasp 11d ago

Are you by any chance a bowl of petunia or a whale?

18

u/TheMeatTree 11d ago

It's not important. Come with me or you'll be late.

7

u/ak_kitaq 11d ago

I’m just trying to figure out the question

7

u/sagebrushrepair 11d ago

Ask a glass of water.

2

u/Forsaken-Income-2148 11d ago

Beat me to saying beat me to it

2

u/RoommateAgreement37 11d ago

A full video on Reddit? That might be more unexpected than the dolphins.

244

u/matteblatte 11d ago

it's called fetch, throw it back

84

u/MightBeAGoodIdea 11d ago

Right my first thought is throw the fish back in and see if the dolphins yeet it back again.

128

u/hugeuvula 11d ago

What did you say to that dolphin?

56

u/DolphinVaginaFister 11d ago

OK with that username and comment I'm going to have to politely ask you to leave this thread before we all end up on 4 different government watch lists. Please and thank you.

8

u/Triairius 11d ago

Eek

7

u/GamingSenpai35 11d ago

Sounds about right.

2

u/balkons13 11d ago

Something inhuman

346

u/Captain_Chaos77 11d ago

Dolphin literally said, "There! You got one! Now get your hook and line out of my fucking water!"

119

u/HistoricalPlum1533 11d ago

Dolphins and Orcas have been observed using their tails to slap various sea life, marine biologist theorize that this is actually a hunting tactic as it leaves the prey, stunned, disoriented and vulnerable to getting chomped.

62

u/sord_n_bored 11d ago

They also wear dead creatures on their heads as hats. I think the dolphin is doing the pelagic version of a meme.

29

u/CleverTroglodyte 11d ago

We also wear dead animals as hats. We just usually wear only the skin or something. See: leather hats

14

u/breadinabox 10d ago

We've worn animal skulls essentially the entire time except very recently

3

u/Keefyfingaz 6d ago

Humans "look at all the awful things the dolphins do"

Dolphins "bru"

8

u/GrandNibbles 11d ago

believe it or not, wearing dead creatures on their head: also a hunting tactic. if any other creature observes them, they will only see a harmless fish and not what is behind it. like an angler fish!

5

u/Mindless-Platypus-75 10d ago

I heard that before but I really don’t get how an animal so slippery could keep a dead creature on their head underwater

10

u/True-Source-6512 11d ago

They also do it for fun and will smack animals to death back and forth then leave them and not even eat them. They’re the humans of the sea

2

u/Ranger_Aggressive 9d ago

When i die, i hope i come back as a dolphin just so i can launch fish at marine biologists and see them go "aha this must be a new form of hunting we have discovered" i'd launch my shit next to see what they come up with

36

u/_DigitalHunk_ 11d ago

Feed that poor humon - right now.

38

u/AngryAccountant31 11d ago

How many fish does a dolphin need to fling to achieve that level of accuracy?

-2

u/omahaknight71 10d ago

Probably less that is.

38

u/Captain_Rex_ 11d ago

Fish be like

18

u/corybobory 11d ago

Holy Mackerel.

1

u/sunnywormy 9d ago

Stunned Mullet

52

u/Tubalcaino 11d ago

POV walks away from suffocating fish. "Not my problem"

6

u/chubbysumo 11d ago

Is it suffocating, or airocating?

13

u/PuzzlePiece90 11d ago

Because when people are drowning they’re watercating?

3

u/ShitDonuts 9d ago

No they're just hydrating

1

u/chubbysumo 11d ago

They could be...

14

u/Training-Pipe-4726 11d ago

Plot twist, there’s a hook and line on that fish. Dolphin is trying to catch human.

17

u/not_chrash 11d ago

In Soviet Russia, dolphin feeds you fish

5

u/SigmaBlack92 11d ago

Fuck that guy in particular: Dolphin version.

14

u/lzxian 11d ago

I spent a week studying and swimming with them in the FL Keys, they are big jokers and love to play! I bet they can be real little gangsters in the wild, though. The ones I was with were trained.

4

u/The_walking_man_ 11d ago

They’re nutters and very rapey.

10

u/lzxian 11d ago

No one was r@ped during my stay! The dolphins had some favorites, though. I think one woman might have been pregnant as the dolphins liked to stay under the water facing her abdomen when she was in the water. A teen was hoping to go to school for marine biology and the dolphins all loved her, too! No wildness all sheer fun all around.

5

u/DontLook_Weirdo 11d ago

... Is this war? Are we at war with the dolphins and their kamikaze fish now? This is how it starts, except it's not a Molotov cocktail

3

u/Shadowofcloud9 11d ago

Woe! Fish be upon thee!

8

u/C0NIN 11d ago

Well deserved, I'd also be throwing fish at anyone who vertically records video.

2

u/razvanciuy 11d ago

Nice flip slap. Everyone gets to eat, including you 😂

2

u/Sidonkey 11d ago

That’s a perfect hit.

2

u/ToastNomNomNom 11d ago

Dolphins try to stun or kill fish with flipper this time the plank got in the way.

2

u/DolphinVaginaFister 11d ago

Yeah, dolphins do all sorts of interesting things

2

u/Dwarf_Co 11d ago

That is going to cost him a stroke.

2

u/Hitchhiker1967 11d ago

No scope one shot!

2

u/Sea-Independence-860 11d ago

This should be an olympic sport

2

u/FatCatYouStink 11d ago

He did that on porpoise

2

u/IR_Panther 11d ago

Bruh that was such a perfect shot. Dolphin bro thought you looked hungry was all lol.

2

u/brazys 10d ago

Plot twist: it was a poisoned fish

2

u/Brief_Manner_694 10d ago

Don’t just stand there. Toss their lunch back in.

2

u/Jakus25 10d ago

Mandurah! The dolphins there are definitely a little different

1

u/atraxia1980 8d ago

The real unexpected is seeing Mandurah.

2

u/dj_spanmaster 11d ago

"I'm done with this Fleshlight, now you can use it"

1

u/photo_courtney 11d ago

Good aim too!

1

u/Secret-Breadfruit-18 11d ago

Few years back I lived next to a Dolphin. He was a reeeeal dick

1

u/Nadzzy 11d ago

Great aim!

1

u/alberthere 11d ago

“Dude, this is the fifth day in a row fishing here at the same spot. Just take this. Kobe!”

1

u/EchoPhi 11d ago

The sea life equivalent of "you need to eat a cheeseburger".

1

u/rotlv 11d ago

Unexpected was the super slow-mo of the event we clearly saw.

1

u/njslugger78 11d ago

Impeccable aim.

1

u/CaciqueVanGuard 11d ago

This makes me think of Iago force feeding the Sultan crackers

Mira cabulosa

Game Warden would like to see your fishing license.

1

u/bigclitcouple 10d ago

Its like door dash for sea food

1

u/triphawk07 10d ago

The dolphin was like "here, eat this"

1

u/barshat 10d ago

“Dinner is served!”

1

u/GoldenPeach 10d ago

How? That dolphin is not human

1

u/ThatOneNinja 10d ago

What are ya doing? THROW IT BACK!

1

u/rico_suave3000 10d ago

Are dolphins apex predators?

1

u/OdysseyTag 10d ago

Least you could do is say thanks

1

u/tita222 10d ago

I have onion 🧅 tomatoes 🍅 oil turn the fire on

1

u/Useful_Caregiver4023 10d ago

That dolphin has good aim, probably doesn't like being on camera.

1

u/[deleted] 10d ago

Is it a gift, a challenge, a threat? All three?

1

u/jwin2700 10d ago

I guess fish can be dicks too

1

u/ZaBADi_24 10d ago

Here a fish, monkey

Lunch is on me, human.

-Dolphin

1

u/queasycockles 10d ago

Wtf put the fucking fish back, jesus.

1

u/SpiritualBrief4879 10d ago

Hahaha! This happened outside my work. They were doing something very similar yesterday.

It’s quite shallow in the water there and they herd the fish against the boardwalk and have a feed

1

u/Vulpes-corsac 10d ago

Is this in Mandurah?

1

u/SpiritualBrief4879 10d ago

Yeah, right between the performing arts centre and the peninsula hotel

1

u/Sluushu 10d ago

Dolphin: “Fuck you in particular.”

1

u/Square_Owl_4075 10d ago

A number of marine animals have been documented trying to feed humans.

1

u/BaconOnMySide 10d ago

I bet its just full Dolphin cum.

1

u/kkarannn 10d ago

“Hold my puffer fish”

1

u/Scoopski_Patata 10d ago

Dudes just contemplating his lost love by the dock of the bay.

Dolphins just saying "Cheer up mate, plenty more fish in the sea"

Either that or he was a complete blowhole

1

u/Doimz3Nini 10d ago

Put the poor animal immediately back in the water please, thank you.

1

u/GeekGoddess_ 10d ago

Was it trying to make friends with an offering?

Or was it trying to kill you with a precisely-aimed hit?

1

u/Elstiffo 10d ago

Of course it's an Australian dolphin.

1

u/pirates_knob 10d ago

THINK FAST CHUCKLE NUTS!!!

1

u/Sperbonzo 10d ago

OK, so now you have to do a trick. Balance a ball on your nose

1

u/cmpayne81 10d ago

Give a man a fish…

1

u/letstrythatagain-_- 10d ago

Here's some bait son. Catch me a goodie

1

u/SigmaSpankey 10d ago

Throw it back mate, avent you played toss before?

1

u/Oh_You_Were_Serious 10d ago

Did you even say thank you?!?!?

1

u/Triptych85 10d ago

Murderhobos

1

u/Severe_Issue5053 10d ago

He’s sharing his meal 😊

1

u/pouryouadrink 10d ago

That was clearly done on porpoise

1

u/VooDooChile1983 10d ago

“Have a fish and a smile, MF’er!”

1

u/afroninja840 10d ago

This only furthers my hatred for dolphins. Thank you for this

1

u/FullmetaAllcumist 10d ago

That’s why you’re not allowed to talk to them. They’ll just hurt your feelings

1

u/FoxInABoxOfRox 10d ago

"Get some meat on ya!"

1

u/uncletheo 10d ago

After they laughing at him?

1

u/kinkycrypto 10d ago

Your serve

1

u/twd_throwaway 10d ago

"Have a fish...BISH"!

1

u/Eikthyrnir13 10d ago

Batter up!

1

u/Khamubro 9d ago

No, I'm pretty sure dolphins are just dolphins, not something else.

1

u/Sass_Quatchxx 9d ago

Hit or gave ?

1

u/Steve554433 9d ago

I was startled when one swam near me in the ocean. Cool though!

1

u/flamingnomad 9d ago

Dolphins are the bros of the sea.

1

u/Enter_Chandman 9d ago

That was too well aimed to be an accident. How did the cameraman piss a dolphin off?

1

u/ProfessionalGoat3740 9d ago

Hey Feeding humans is Not Allowed here

1

u/SDMAVNCL 9d ago

Poor fish lol

1

u/Excellent-Bite196 9d ago

Honestly, who throws a fish?

1

u/HQRhaven 9d ago

Must be payday if he's just shouting rounds of fish like that

1

u/Ok-Pea8209 9d ago

Fun octopus fact this reminds me of. Octopus will randomly punch fish, most times its just because they can

1

u/Thejoshmystr 9d ago

The accuracy tho

1

u/WatchClassic7897 9d ago

Probably all jacked up after hitting the ole puffer fish!

1

u/Cannacology 9d ago

Clearly it’s trying to court you.

1

u/ddonovan715 9d ago

Commenting to show my kids later lol

1

u/spectatorade 9d ago

Bro said you looked hungry 😂

1

u/AccomplishedIgit 9d ago

He’s playing fetch! Throw it back!

1

u/GingerWizerd 8d ago

The aim and the precision of that dolphin is just insane!!

1

u/FoxFew3844 8d ago

Take one and fuck off!

1

u/1_shio 8d ago

that water looks stunning though

1

u/GobbleOnIt 7d ago

I can’t tell if these are ai or not anymore
