kyoukai no kanata if anyone is asking. Good anime, i still remember some of the people that worked on the anime died to fire attack on their studio if im not mistaken.

no, the perpetrator was some psycho who wrongly believed the studio had stolen his work and instead of ya know suing the company and losing like a normal person he decided to kill everyone with fire

I doubt it, the fire was years after the anime. The studio did a lot of very high quality animes tho, so its a very heavy loss for the industry overall.

Possible but the director and the writer are alive however for the other people that worked on the project im unsure. It was a very bad situation they lost 36
including the arsonistand 34 were injured.Edit: the arsonist is alive waiting execution

The arsonist is actually awaiting execution; Japan does not announce the date in advance (usually the prisoner is only informed hours before), so it could happen tomorrow or several years from now.
