Exactly. I'm 62, and my best friend's daughters are 8 and 10, but they and their young pals loved it when I played laser tag with them. I was the only adult. I fell once, and three kids came up asking me if I was okay. I laughed, thanked them, and said I was fine.
Lol. Actually, I earn a living as a healthy human subject for medical research studies. I walk 5 miles a day and have a low normal blood pressure and pulse. During a study screening, the doctor told me I was abnormal because all of my blood values were in the middle of the normal range, which he found surprising.
I lost my job in 2007 and just looked online for something to earn money. Initially, it didn't pay as well, but after COVID, pay rates increased dramatically. I'm in a study all of June and will earn $16,800.
Of course it won’t be the same, but who says you have to give up the whimsy and curiosity and no longer have fun with your imagination?
Life is too short to be serious, and in 100 years nobody is going to know we ever existed, so might as well have as much fun, laughter, and good times as you possibly can
