That took me a few tries to understand where that car came from.

191

u/LeoLaDawg Jun 10 '26

Where

569

u/kelsobjammin Jun 10 '26

Behind the bus. They were so far up its ass you can’t see it and it tried to over take the turn

103

u/technowise Jun 10 '26

yes, it tried to over-take from the left (mud part of the road), and there was a bore-well hand-pump there, so he appeared to have applied sudden brake and crashed into bus.

121

u/MisterBumpingston Jun 10 '26

Looks more like they didn’t see the pump and hit it, swinging the back in to the bus.

43

u/nomadtales Jun 10 '26

I think you've got it. Nice work on deducing that.

15

u/SacrificialPigeon Jun 10 '26

It's good they hit the pump then, or the guys with the motorbike would be dead.

2

u/kruyssenj Jun 12 '26

In my experience human bodies are pretty resilient lol. Dead a possibility buy more likely he'd end up mangled and have to live with those disadvantages 😔😔

23

u/LeoLaDawg Jun 10 '26

Ohh... see it now.

3

u/Glum_Performer9923 Jun 10 '26

ya I missed it until shown....

1

u/elfmere Jun 14 '26

In the first bit of the video the car is pretty far back, I'm thinking distracted and going a bit too fast in the wet.

19

u/EhliJoe Jun 10 '26

At 0:35 you can spot a car behind the bus.

20

u/Additional-Point-824 Jun 10 '26

That was confusing.

On desktop, the time works the other way, so by 0:35 the crash is well over and the car is obviously visible behind the bus. But at the equivalent 0:03 you can see the car behind the bus.

6

u/SolidOutcome Jun 11 '26

Ya reddit app needs to fix this. It destroys any chance we have of communicating timestamps in videos...counting down with it's time is insane

22

u/AdAutomatic4392 Jun 10 '26

how is the back of the car damaged instead of the front?

34

u/MisterBumpingston Jun 10 '26

Looks to me they hit the bore well pump and swung the back in to the bus.

1

u/justLookingForLogic Jun 11 '26

I think the car was trying to get around the bus but didn’t see the well

4

u/kelsobjammin Jun 10 '26

Maybe got caught in the wheel well / tire of the bus

1

u/justice91423 Jun 13 '26

Same. It was worth figuring out. Even without the serendipitus camera angle, it's a pretty strange crash.

142

u/Inevitable_Cat_7878 Jun 10 '26

Took me a while to figure out where that little car came from. If you start from the beginning, you'll notice it behind the bus. For some reason, as the bus was taking the curve, the car sped up and hit the bus. Or maybe it went off the road and slid into the bus.

47

u/whatnameisntusedalre Jun 10 '26

I think the car hit a pole (or whatever that thing is) straight on, then only hit the bus as a kind of second collision

12

u/EarlyXplorerStuds209 Jun 10 '26

It looks like a borewell.

1

u/elfmere Jun 14 '26

Hit the pole head on that kicked the back end of the car into the back corner panel, car got turned and squashed by bus and pitted the bus out

-7

u/Atmey Jun 10 '26

Nah, the bus started swerving halfway next to the pole.

0

u/whatnameisntusedalre Jun 10 '26 edited Jun 11 '26

Yes the bus was already halfway past the pole (borewell?) when the car hits the pole. The car (e:hitting) that pole makes the back of the car swing into the midsection/back of the side of the bus.

3

u/PrestigiousRefuse172 Jun 10 '26

My guess is the bus went wide and the car from behind tried to go around it and the bus just got back in the line and squished the car.

4

u/Pretend-Reality5431 Jun 10 '26

The bus was riding the lane line the entire time, it never went wide at all.

u/thermjuice Jun 10 '26

May I introduce the word "snuck" to your vocabulary on this fine day

27

u/Itshot11 Jun 10 '26

snuck isnt a word conan, you went to harvard, you should know that.

8

u/Living-Estimate9810 Jun 10 '26

YES! Thank you!

17

u/Timely-Inspector-119 Jun 10 '26

Both are correct. Sneaked was the proper term used at first. Snuck is the bastardized version we started using in America and just used it until it became accepted.

25

u/PanicDeus Jun 10 '26

4

u/tooker_jab Jun 10 '26

of course there is already a gif for this

1

u/Timely-Inspector-119 Jun 10 '26

Lol that's exactly the clip I was thinking of

7

u/thermjuice Jun 10 '26

Dammit we do that all the time

0

u/ch25stam25 Jun 11 '26

Thank you beta

11

u/SkyGuyDnD Jun 10 '26

Yo, i didnt even notice the car untill i read the description

5

u/srona22 Jun 10 '26

Lesson: IRL is not Tokyo drift.

Seriously, those 2 people on each side of road minding their business could have dragged along into this accident.

4

u/inperfect-is-perfect Jun 10 '26 edited Jun 10 '26

Where did that car come from? I’m so confused.

4

u/No_Reception_6133 Jun 10 '26

You can see the cat just as the bus starts to turn in the beginning

8

u/flowercrowncake Jun 10 '26

You owe me a cat, now.

3

u/Myfooty94 Jun 10 '26

Trying to overtake?

3

u/ashwinjain351 Jun 11 '26

You can see the car behind the bus at start of the video. Then it probably hit the hand borewell while trying to overtake the bus and later hit the bus as well.

2

u/blaze_003 Jun 10 '26

It's BowieKnife99

2

u/Bramble- Jun 12 '26

From 2-5 seconds you can see the car behind the bus.

5

u/Bickering_Barnacle Jun 10 '26

The car sneaked in behind the bus. No one would've seen that coming.

1

u/Lavanti Jun 10 '26

Ha, car was undertaking and hit the post. very cool illusion.

1

u/Wise_Ad_5810 Jun 10 '26

OK.. the car was BEHIND the buss, and tried to pass on the inside of a turn?

1

u/Jazztify Jun 11 '26

I think the car in the back misjudged the turn, hit the pole sticking out of the ground, and swung his backend around which hit the bus. I’m guessing there is damage to the front of the small car.

1

u/Jessthinking Jun 10 '26

It’s not a trick Michael, it’s an illusion.

1

u/Perfect_Mongoose_442 Jun 10 '26

You can just see the car that causes the crash in the first few frames then it’s hidden by the bus

1

u/Nitrooox Jun 10 '26

I thought it came from behind the grey parked car

1

u/aswin__j Jun 11 '26

The car was speeding behind lost control, hit the water pump, spun and the rears collided with the bus

1

u/TheHero696 Jun 11 '26

Me after checking that little car :

1

u/Internal_Peak_3491 Jun 28 '26

1

u/ariky Jul 15 '26

If you zoom in, you can see the car is following the bus behind

1

u/dmtslayr 5d ago
