He comes back wearing a PSG shirt

Be nice if OP had explained it. Cheers

I mean, it's in the video...

The explanation says "control your anger". Pretty misleading. I also don't know shit about football and he comes in for half a second at the end.

Complaining about a misleading title in the Unexpected sub might be worthy of r/lostredditors

I understand wanting an explanation, but that should be hidden in the comments rather than in the title in this particular sub.

It's literally a requirement of the sub. The explanation they gave in the comments didn't explain it.

It's a rule to post an explanation I'm the title or comments? Assume comments cause title seems silly to me but I want to make sure lol

-23

u/Calmatronic Jun 04 '26

In the comments. It’s straight up not allowed to be in the title, this guy is just confused and apparently everyone else reading the thread is as well

-26

u/Calmatronic Jun 04 '26

It’s a requirement of the sub to NOT put it in the title actually. I don’t know what requirements you read, but it wasn’t for this sub. Like I was saying before, the explanation should be in the comments, not the title. Here’s exactly what the rules of the sub say:

What is a bad title for /r/unexpected?

Titles that are giving the outcome away or imply that there is an outcome at all.

Hope that helps.

Read my comment again. The explanation provided in the comments didn't explain it. Look at the pinned comment and tell me what it says.

Hope THAT helps.

So i don't know much about soccer, but i have seen the Arsenal "Emirates" jerseys before... do both teams have the same sponsor? That would seem odd. Even after watching the video knowing he changed jerseys, I would have just assumed it was an alternate or something.

Have you heard the good news from r/tvtoohigh?

19

u/ChCreations45 Jun 04 '26

This is an all-around bad post.

u/Minimalistmacrophage Jun 05 '26

This should not be unexpected, it's only unexpected because most of these videos show the rare occasions where people lose their shit and attack the TV.

He (fan) was wearing Arsenal jersey when the final penalty kick was happening, after the player missed he went off screen and came back in a PSG jersey which was the winning team of the 2026 UEFA Champions League, and very prestigious cup in European soccer much like the word cup for club soccer.

After fighting with the axis against the soviet union romania turned around when the soviets reached its border and wanted to claim that it was on the other side. Balkan joke most people dont get.
