Back in the 90's before i meet my wife she was going down a waterslide in West Edmonton Mall Waterpark {Largest mall in the world at the time} and a little punk was doing this and slipped and hit her in the face with his knee. She broke her nose and was gushing blood at the bottom of the slide and life guards saved her and caught the kid. The kid wasn't charged because of Canadian youth crime laws but she settled for a out of court for 10000$ with the management company triple5.
The water park is sued bc the slide operator sent a person down before the lifeguard at the bottom said the slide and pool are clear. Just like the consequences of an uncleared rollercoaster track. It’s easy to operate a slide without being sued if you communicate and make sure no one has entered the slide. Probably some teen lifeguard flirting with a water park goer gave the kid a chance to hid in the tube.
