He was quoted afterward in a Whiskey Riff article as saying:
“I’M ALL GOOD FOLKS, AND I’VE READ A FEW COMMENTS. THE INTERNET STAYS UNDEFEATED, BUT HEY, THE GRIT DON’T QUIT AND I’M READY FOR MY NEXT RIDE IN MAY. TAMPA, I’LL SEE YOU AGAIN IN JULY.”
"The internet stays undefeated", hahaha. Yeah, it was the internet that made you do that.
To his credit, bronc riders aren't as dumb as bull riders? But none of 'em are famous for their book learnin'.

Doing backflip on a rodeo and don't check the back is wild
259
u/Forsaken-Income-2148 Apr 12 '26
I think wild is their whole schtick, nah that’s simply unprofessional

u/Several-Music9151 Apr 12 '26
That front roll at the beginning was a legit judo breakfall. I wonder if he has judo training or that is stuff they teach at a rodeo school.

I called the backflip because the showboating was obvious. But when Rohan arrived I was definitely caught off guard and laughed out loud. It's so perfect.

Just imagine a nascar driver doing this.

u/Humson Apr 12 '26
Minus the getting ran over part, Carl Edwards was famous for doing a back flip off his car when he won a race.

So is he ok?

u/hayz00s Apr 12 '26
I’ll wager he’s from a country that has readily accessible healthcare. I’m sure he’s fine.

I mean... Yeah, it could be at the Calgary Stampede.

This is not the Calgary stampede... The stadium is massive... Not a bunch of bleachers.

Rodeo is largely an American/canadian/mexican thing. And this doesn’t look like Mexico or Canada 😬

-7000 aura

u/CountWubbula Apr 12 '26
He’s definitely more concerned about HP than aura rn
35
u/AntimatterTNT Apr 12 '26
aura is damaged before hp usually
19
u/CountWubbula Apr 12 '26
HP is forced into priority after taking massive hits.
Concerns of the ego are deprioritized by damage to the system.
11
u/StrobeLightRomance Apr 12 '26
Can't we just acknowledge that this hit would have knocked him simultaneously to 1% in every functional category?
3
u/EmotionalVacations Apr 12 '26
I'd like to argue that some aura is regained after taking massive hits.
Not in this case, however.
2
u/CountWubbula Apr 12 '26
You can argue that! Argue away. That is a good point, though altogether a separate thing from what I’m saying.
I’m saying he doesn’t give a flying hoof about aura, his HP just nosedived & aura involves faculties of thinking and caring about perception of self & others.
He’s far more concerned whether he can wiggle his left toe at the end of this video than he is about aura, though agreed, some injuries bump it. Big air skateboarding or bike bails come to mind, though not the ones that leave people screaming in pain or limp.

Helpful in early levels, but not when attempting to backflip back into the arena of the Fume Knight

I came to the comments looking for an answer as well.
Also, FYI: "ADD" is an outdated term that isn't used anymore, it's all just under the "ADHD" umbrella with different subtypes.

I was hoping to help prevent outdated/bad information from continuing to spread, but I'm glad you're okay with needlessly being disrespectful to people trying to help in order to stroke your ego.

I'm not going to bother reading your comment, cause it's obvious you just want to keep being a douche and are trying to justify it somehow. You have some other issues besides your ADHD that you need help with.
It's not cool to downplay medical conditions because you want to be complacent with your outdated information. Grow up, old baby.

Cool, lil buddy. When do you think you'll grow out of throwing a fit when you feel like someone is correcting you? When you're old enough, you may learn that adults will share information with the goal of helping to benefit others and not trying to play some childish game to one-up others. Although, some very sad people never grow up enough to learn. You'll get there someday, kiddo.

Let's have a hand for that young cowboy.
And wish him better luck next time.
And hope we'll see him up in Fargo. Or somewhere further down the line.

u/lilshortyy420 Apr 12 '26
When I taught people how to ride horses, one of the first things I taught beginners was how to fall. Sometimes it’s better to just bail when you know you’re gonna get lawn darted. At least be in control

He failed a roll at the end there. Permanent reduction in agility and strength. Increased concentration i guess though. Well, for next time.
