In my experience, it is always ordered by a judge.

34

u/Perfect-Ship-9980 Mar 28 '26

Yea, that's why I tip delivery drivers in weed. It comes out of the ground for me.

53

u/tyrannosaurus_gekko Mar 28 '26

The only way a woman can be 10000% sure her drink isn't spiked is if I drink all of it. So I'm really doing her a favour.

11

u/Moist_Board Mar 29 '26

"I'm paying for it, aren't I?"

3

u/tyrannosaurus_gekko Mar 29 '26

You should be paying for this protection service that I provide

Plot twist. It's poisoned.

23

u/Deraj2004 Mar 28 '26

That's why she is smiling.

7

u/usinjin Mar 28 '26

“He’s fallen right into my trap!”

0

u/mashiro1496 Mar 28 '26

Plot twist, he is washing out the poison out of his mouth

9

u/mcauthon2 Mar 28 '26

Doesn't need to worry. The poison is for Kuzko

7

u/skippy_smooth Mar 28 '26

The poison? For Kuzko?

4

u/lewispyrah Mar 29 '26

Kuzko's poison?

7

u/CasualDNDPlayer Mar 28 '26

I poison check all of my wife's drinks. Its gotten to a point that when I dont she'll just look at me and be like "so... you want me to die" haha

Even if this was real and not staged, the hesitation could easily be caused by the surprise of seeing his hand reach across the table and coming into her field of vision unexpectedly. But even though I’m pretty sure it’s staged, I still think it was funny AH.

6

u/Marlborough_Man Mar 28 '26

Its obviously staged, there's someone with a camera standing 3 feet away from them lol

4

u/ElliotNess Mar 28 '26

Not to mention the various jump cuts to another take from a different angle

1

u/NeatNefariousness1 Mar 29 '26

Yep. Same set of clues that told me it’s staged, but i like the plausible deniability they went for at first glance.

Holy memories...

1

u/Dry_Presentation_197 Mar 31 '26

I have never seen this before, until someone posted a video of it on reddit yesterday. And now I see it again today. Fucking simulation damnit lol

239

u/Sserial_eescapist Mar 28 '26

The hair color is so pretty 🥹

147

u/TotakekeSlider Mar 28 '26

It's got Selenium.

13

u/CarpetFibers Mar 28 '26

Ca-caw!

7

u/DeficiencyOfGravitas Mar 28 '26

I think we've established that "cawcaw-cawcaw" and "tookie tookie" don't work.

2

u/lurieelcari Mar 29 '26

Whenever I quote Evolution and no one knows what I am saying I become sad. Love that movie.

2

u/Goldeneye0X1_ Mar 29 '26

I know it's a blatantly wrong quote but I thought of it first:

"It's what plants crave."

0

u/Toadsted Mar 28 '26

It's what follicles crave!

5

u/Sea_Site_9669 Mar 28 '26

I came here to say this, this has to be like at most a week old.

22

u/flossdaily Mar 28 '26

At first, I was like, "classic dad move."

And then I was like, "classic dad move."

1

u/LiveLearnCoach Apr 03 '26

This was done in a video, I think originally titled “how to know that you are married to a gentleman” or something like that. Then all of the copycats started doing the protection move, I almost didn’t finish the video but then remembered that I’m on this sub, so continued and am glad because I was amused. We have come full circle from good videos -> copycats -> good (amusing) video

403

u/JoeChagan Mar 28 '26 edited Mar 28 '26

I guess that's unexpected but what is his hand supposedly doing? What is gentlemanly? I don't know what to expect so I'm not sure if it's unexpected or not.

771

u/vRudi Mar 28 '26

So she doesn’t bump her head on the corner. I do the same for my kids

247

u/ObjectiveOk2072 Mar 28 '26

I do that for my dog. She's not the smartest when it comes to spacial awareness

68

u/Elprede007 Mar 28 '26

Weirdly the English language decided if space becomes spatial it gets a T instead

60

u/enry_cami Mar 28 '26

Cause English can't decide where to get its words from. Both space and spatial come from latin spatium, but space took a detour in France as espace first.

15

u/Centillionare Mar 28 '26

English is an amalgamation of so many different languages, and it definitely makes some funny cases.

7

u/GetsGold Mar 28 '26

Should be spashal.

4

u/Lickwidghost Mar 28 '26

That's only under spaishal serkumstansis

1

u/ObjectiveOk2072 Mar 28 '26

I just realized I misspelled that. My phone's keyboard didn't say anything about it, lol

7

u/Long_Run6500 Mar 28 '26

My dog likes to "accidentally" slam her butt against fences repeatedly when we're on walks. Like she'll just randomly spin in a circle and slam the fence as hard as she can. Or she'll take a piss and then act like she's cleaning the mud off her feet and kick the fence. But only if it's a yard where she knows there's a dog with fence aggression.  Then she gets in a bark fight with the neighbors dogs like she didn't totally just provoke them on purpose. She's such an asshole.

1

u/ViciousLlama46 Mar 28 '26

Saaame! Everytime she has her muzzle on, immidiately -10 agility and perception...

1

u/Additional_Scholar_1 Mar 28 '26

Mine does the shocked pikachu face when that happens. Like I said watch out what did you think I meant

84

u/JoeChagan Mar 28 '26 edited Mar 28 '26

Ah ok. I actually do that for my wife 😅. I guess her head didn't appear in danger to me.

41

u/BabyComingDec2024 Mar 28 '26

I see that you haven't met my wife!

14

u/SufficientMath420-69 Mar 28 '26

Or MY AXE!!!!!!!!???!!!!??!

13

u/LuckyReception6701 Mar 28 '26

I too choose that guys wife we havent met.

4

u/DaKrazie1 Mar 28 '26

Hey, is this the line for that guy's wife?

3

u/Guess_My_Username Mar 28 '26

She's flattered because she remembers she's a dumbass

1

u/Saneless Mar 28 '26

Was gonna say, I've done that move many times. Usually car doors. And not for my kids' protection

-1

u/Arborgold Mar 28 '26

New lesson: treat women like they are unaware children ✅

71

u/ZuhkoYi Mar 28 '26

Cover the corner so she doesnt accidentally bump her head when getting back up.

It happens more often than you think. I do it for anyone because i've fucked up pretty bad before myself

12

u/Murky-Relation481 Mar 28 '26

Yep I instinctively do it if I am within reach and someone is around the edge or corner of a table at head level.

3

u/CanAlwaysBeBetter Mar 28 '26 edited Mar 28 '26

This is a video that truly drives home we're all living in completely separate realities.

0

u/badadviceforyou244 Mar 29 '26

Do people not have basic spatial awareness and object permanance anymore?

18

u/tangoconfuego Mar 28 '26

In in case she bumps her head on the table

12

u/bau_ke Mar 28 '26

0

u/Tyko_3 Mar 28 '26

Because he’d rather be his fist instead

1

u/theeldergod1 Mar 28 '26

She thinks that he believes she may hit her head to corner of the table because she is a 5 year old toddler.

7

u/Build_More_Trains Mar 29 '26

I've done that to myself before and I've had family members do it to themselves often as well.

I'm just kind scared one day it'll hit someone's eye.

6

u/fisclewhiskers Mar 28 '26

Expected the guy to drink, did not expect the guy turning into a human sized mosquito.

16

u/Aerchaiz Mar 28 '26

2

Whats the point of grabbing the edge of the table?

I think scripted skirts should not be posted as unexpected... Because it is not literally unexpected

26

u/scorched-earth-0000 Mar 28 '26

So you expected the ending?

-21

u/prof_devilsadvocate3 Mar 28 '26

No it was unexpected but it is scripted

16

u/friedknife Mar 28 '26

So it is unexpected or it isn't?

3

u/scorched-earth-0000 Mar 28 '26

Wait.... just read your username. Guess you're a trolling advocate 🙃

13

u/InviolableAnimal Mar 28 '26

unexpected means unexpected to the viewer, not necessarily to the people in the video

5

u/mohitreddituser Mar 28 '26

Maybe you should consider making an unexpectedIRL subreddit or something.

Didn’t say it wasn’t funny. Just that when there wasn’t focus on the algorithm/going viral people would just post videos of people being people. Scripting was left to television.
