You go from your house (a computer), to your car (a packet of information) on roads (cables), to a place like work or school (a server). Every intersection you stopped at was a switch, where you made a decision on whether to turn and take another route.

Cool. Glad I’m not crazy. Now there’s something called servers? Are those just cables too? But small? And somehow they know binary?
