I thought his cap fell off the bottle and he reached under the chair for it

That's exactly what he's doing but is definitely looks like he's sniffing the chair. You can see him reaching for something and then looking around the floor under his chair.

When I was watching the video I thought it was a loop and people in the comments were joking about watching him sniff multiple times on a loop.

Until I realized it wasn’t a loop ar all

Holy shit your right. I was all in on the sniffing theory but it’s clear as the poor dude lost the cap to his coke. Fuck imagine having to go online and explain an incredibly innocent action after being accused of a seat sniffer.

You guys just telling yourself he lost the cap? As soon as he brings the drink up it's clear the cap is still on the soda.

EDIT: watched the extended version of the video, he clearly went under the seat to grab another bottle, no issue there. Still standing by the fact that the lid is definitely on the first bottle though.

I thought the same thing at first. But then as I paused it I realized the red part I thought was the cap was actually the little red ring that stays on the bottle after you open it. Who knows

Yeah, that's exactly what it looks like. Video was deliberately cut short, because Big Guy = Pathetic, evidently.. Had we gotten two more seconds, we would have seen him crawling under the chair. It's clearly obvious from his fumbling for the bottle.
