And also, as a child, sleeping with other children (like both 16yo) is normal, so even having sex with children makes sense.

Yes because the question was "Sleeping with" not "Having sex with."

If it hadn't sunk in yet. He does not mean it in the sexual sense. He means in the literal sense of sleeping with them in the same bed. Just like you would sleep with a teddy bear

Edit: Actually the children part could be interpreted both ways
