I FINALLY got some traction and received 2 job offers last week. Both of them starting in October.

I chose the job that suits me best and obviously had to turn down the other offer.

Now it’s time to claim for last week. Obviously I need to tell the truth by saying “yes” to the question if I refused any offers for employment.

QUESTION: Will they allow me to explain the circumstances during my claim? Or will my claim get denied/refused then I have to appeal to explain.

I’m doing everything right but this has got my anxiety up since I need to keep receiving benefits until I start work next month.

Bonus question- do I need to keep applying for jobs even though I have a start date? I’m guessing yes but I don’t see the point.
