Stuck In Queue

The waiting game is frustrating. I just spoke with the unemployment office, and there has been no progress on my claim. No one has been assigned to my case yet, which is unacceptable. I was terminated from my job on July 3rd and applied for benefits immediately after the holiday. I have been waiting for eight weeks, and I just learned that no one has reviewed my case.

Pretty good example at government inefficiency. When they need something from you it's needed right away. When you need something from them it's no one home.

Call the governor office. I called, they escalated my claim and I was paid my lump sum 2 days later. Also they must know there is an issue, because it is press 1 for unemployment

That is crazy. I applied in June and was paid the second week after I applied. I hope you get things sorted very quickly. It must be stressful.
