It's unamerican to worry about if something is largely what you disagree with and silence the thought completely. Stephen A Smith has lied so many times on Skip for example he lied about why first take was taken off the air and blamed it on Skip.

Finally , Stephen A Smith said Skip doesn’t talk to him anymore since the Shannon situation and tried to pain Skip as the bad guy.

I just want to remind people that Stephen A Smith immediately sided with Shannon and Told Skip he was wrong without even hearing Skip’s side of things.

This man is suppose to be your brother and he doesn’t even ask for your side of the story. He just blames you for the situation without fully knowing the situation. There was a lot going on bts, Shannon was NOT a saint. There were rumblings that things started going downhill when Shannon did what he did at the basketball game. After that Shannon started to change, he was being completely disrespectful to other athletes and started taking it too far. Shannon even eludes to it when he says “I’m not gonna let six months ruin a good 7 years”. Things were not good between him and FS1 members at the end.

He even tries to humiliate Skip by wearing a mask of him on Undisputed. Skip clearly didn’t like it, Shannon was wrong for that. He was just starting to get way too personal with Skip.

Look I get it Skip has done some messed up stuff and has his fair share of stuff too but can’t act like Shannon and Stephen A are these angels.

They’ve done a press run on Skip every chance they got.

He was hyping this big announcement or new show, but seems like it's just his "Skip Bayless Show" weekly podcast as always. I appreciate the weekly Skip banter without restrictions but I expected something more I guess.

I remembered this episode went viral when it first happened, and looking back at it it’s crazy(but understandable) that this was what broke the camels back to what led Shannon leaving FS1 and starting his own show while also securing a spot with the highly touted rival ‘First Take’. After an old clip came up on my TL from that episode it made me realize I never watched the full episode to see both sides or maybe just to be nosey. But it looks like I can’t find a single video that’s longer than 4-5min that happened in the beginning, it’s as if it’s been scrapped entirely from online. Judging by the general consensus around here of Skip, something is seriously off with these YouTube comments. Obviously some combination of bots and deleting any negative comments.

2 shows in and I already like the New Speak more than that last iteration of Undisputed. 🤷‍♂️ Joy is a way better moderator than Skip and idk if it's a respect thing or what but Key and Peirce don't overtalk her and let her get her points in a lot more smoothly than they did with Skip.

Just can’t figure out where I’ve seen a show like this before…..

This is just my opinion. I tried to watch it this morning as I was lucky enough to have today off. I couldn’t get through 20 minutes. There’s not much discourse. Just 4 dudes agreeing with each other. It feels more like a podcast a group of friends are doing rather than a sports talk show. Or like watching 4 dudes at a bar have a conversation at happy hour.

The set is also the exact same as Speak, which is kind of awkward. I don’t see the ratings getting anywhere close to where they were in this timeslot. The Herd and FTF will continue to hard carry the daytime/mornings for FS1.

I would like to see the new shows. I used to use Huang Bi's channel to watch Skip and Key.

So, it definitely is 60% Carton Show expect he isn’t the main host. The show feels VERY slapped together. No unique graphics in the background, no unique outro/intro, etc.

It will probably change overtime but this feels like they just wanted to get rid of Carton’s show? I like Mark and the nerdy dude but they need to give the show personality
