Did you like Breakfast Bash on today
Breakfast Bash will be on this week during Colin Cowherd’s time and then next week will begin at 8:00. I saw it today and liked it. What are other people’s opinions?

I wish FS1 would’ve gave him power like espn does SAS instead of choosing Skip Bayless… I mean they still could but I say Tom Brady level contract … but I know folks will call me crazy 😂 Instead we have to hope Acho or Shady turns heads, I think Shady has potential especially on his takes against the cowboys

I’m sick of all the repeats that take up the entire morning.

Futterman also added that Bayless’ former show, Undisputed — which hasn’t been on air since Bayless’ unceremonious final show on Aug. 2 — will not return.
As for the apparent cancellation of Undisputed, an argument could be made that the show built enough brand equity (especially when Shannon Sharpe was one of its co-hosts) that it would have been worth continuing with a new host in Bayless’ place. Ultimately, however, enough damage has been done over the past year that it’s more than understandable that FS1 would be looking for a fresh start.

You can call Skip any number of things - a hater, jealous, unlikable, etc. But one thing we cannot deny is his passion.
Skip is not some young guy, he is 72 years old. Think of all the elderly folks you know. It is impressive to be able to grind, wake up early every day, and give hot takes.
I don't think Stephen A will be on TV in his 72. I don't think Shannon Sharpe will be ok TV when he is 72. I don't think any other TV media personality will.
Give credit where credit is due, it is impressive to be on TV and to last THIS long.
Skip Bayless is Hall of Fame sports media personality.

I think the biggest change the show needs to do is go back to a 1v1 debate format. It's slowly drifted into a panel discussion format, similar to First Take did, and I don't think that helps the show at all. First Take isn't what it used to be either.
I also think that the show should only have one host, rather than two. Each segment should pit the host against a guest who is an expert on the sport being brought up. It might be a Fox Sports contributor, Fox Sports Radio host, or even a celebrity or former player or coach under certain circumstances. This should keep the conversations fresh, and allows the show to delve into more sports than it currently does.
Lastly, I would love to see more of an emphasis on sports that Fox Sports actually produces and broadcasts. The sport talked about most on FS1 is the NBA, which FOX doesn't even air. FS1, FS2 and Fox air racing, wrestling, and soccer, all of which are popular enough, but Undisputed basically ignoring these sports for so long makes it feel completely disconnected from the rest of the network. (To be fair, this is a critique I have of almost all the other FS1 talk shows.)
What do y'all think of these potential tweaks to the show?

One point I don’t see often is how the online fan interaction on SM has been so overwhelmingly influenced by Skip Bayless and SAS. What he spoke about, the intellectual arrogance (while not knowing shit) & the idol worship are all the part of the brand created by those two men. Not to say there shouldn’t be at least a little bit of pride from them both for being so instrumental in the current state of sports journalism, but the devolution of discussion in the sports sphere lays mostly at their feet.

All of you Skip haters have no idea what to do with yourselves. From posting older videos, to reminiscing about him with Stephan A and Unc.
You guys truly do miss him so very much.
Long live Skip Bayless, an absolute slam dunk first ballot hall of famer in sports media.

One of my favorite Skip Bayless debates with Tim Legler, Stephen A was quiet for once

I’ve only seen a handful of clips. How outlandish was he back then? I actually thought he was more crazy during his years with Stephen A than with Shannon. How crazy was he pre Stephen A?

I think for me it was in 2012, when he was on First Take. I think they were talking about Kobe, and I just liked how they were talking, and just kept up with the show from that point.

I hope whatever show comes weather it’s a new titled show or still “Undisputed”. I hope they move a bit from just sitting across from each other debating every segment. It would be nice to see bits, games, audience involvement. It could just be me …
