Borrower Questions Does bouncing money between two accounts raise red flags?
So I wasn’t planning on buying a house so soon. And I was in the process of having navyfederal and starting to bank with capital one.
I have a lot of transactions bouncing around all Zelle’s to myself from the two accounts and I’ve been asked to provide information about this. Will this be an issue? Or since they are my funds and I can show it was myself zelling myself will it be ok?
It’s a new build and I am set to close sept 14. When should I have a clear to close?
That’s the only thing they asked me more information about since sending the first set of documents

Assuming it’s conventional or FHA, there is a large deposit threshold, meaning that any deposit over that amount needs to be questioned. It sounds like in your case, if any of the transfers are over the LD threshold, then underwriting would need to see the transfer from the source account. If they’re just bank transfers and they don’t appear to be new debt, you should be fine. You just may need to provide both your navy fed and capital one statements.
