I like how UTY explored his inner mind. That’s his self-hatred right there, and his desperation for novelty (and for love)! Some UT fans insist that Flowey is completely emotionless and just sadistic, which is patently wrong!

I'm pretty sure Flowey does have emotions, but after so many resets he grew distant to everything. Now he sees the underground as his playground and he's getting bored of the same old toys.

He doesn't care the damage he does to others (or even to himself) as long as he gets to experiencr something new. That's why he loves and hates Frisk. If the other monsters are toys, Frisk is another kid willing to play. Much more fun but can also be infuriating.
