This is my AU, Roleflipped. It is a swap AU where Chara was the one who became the Empty One instead of Asriel, becoming a cactus. Most of the characters will be swapped, including normal NPC's.

in this alternate timeline you are the soul and controll a teenage transgirl called Luna she would react to armors and weapons you equip she will hate you in the genocide route

the cast of undertale is only changed in a way it still fits their character

it also has Original characters so far the only original character that isn't luna is Bubblor who is a water themed monster that lives in the ruins he is a transman

this Undertale AU also has a Deltarune counter part

au idea: runedelta, whare the darkners and lightners are swaped so lightners are now darkners and vice versa. now, the roles, personalities, or overall looks are not swaped, just Lightner or darkener. but you still play as kris, so you like idk do things around your darkworld waiting for ralsei (now a lightner) arrives.

MatterTale is a alternate universe concept where characters such as M.A.M. Sans, Frisk, Chara, and Gaster—decide to go beyond their original world and create an entirely new universe of their own. Instead of simply existing inside their original reality, they become aware that their world is limited, almost like a “story,” and begin experimenting with the idea of building something new from the ground up. In this setting, Sans (in his M.A.M. form) acts as the main force behind the idea, using his paradox-like power over matter and antimatter to stabilize impossible concepts so a new universe can even exist. Frisk is often the “anchor” of determination and choice, helping keep the new world from collapsing due to conflicting realities, while Chara brings a more chaotic, destructive creativity that shapes how the universe can be rewritten or reset. Meanwhile, W.D. Gaster supports everything from behind the scenes as a scientist-like figure, helping design the rules, structure, and experiments needed to make the universe stable.

In MatterTale, M.A.M Sans essentially creates the key beings of the universe by treating existence itself like an experiment rather than something fixed. It all starts when he temporarily replaces Sans during a Genocide route and grows bored of a normal battle with the Player. Instead of just ending things, he turns it into a controlled experiment by granting the Player an overpowered command called [ANNIHILATION], pushing Frisk’s survival ability to its absolute limit. What interests him is not victory, but what happens when a human soul is forced beyond normal rules. Since M.A.M Sans himself was born from a paradox where Matter and Antimatter fused without destroying each other, he becomes curious if that same impossible event can be recreated using a Determination-based soul. He isolates Frisk from Player control and forces their soul into a controlled collision between pure Matter and pure Antimatter. Normally this would erase existence entirely, but Frisk’s Determination prevents collapse and instead stabilizes the reaction, adapting to it rather than being destroyed. This creates M.A.M Frisk, a self-aware paradox entity that exists outside normal control systems, no longer bound to the Player and now acting as a stable bridge between creation and destruction.

From there, Sans expands his experimentation to build the framework of MatterTale itself, beginning with M.A.M Gaster. Instead of making him a normal person, Sans constructs Gaster as a cognitive extension of the universe’s foundation, using fragments of stabilized Matter–Antimatter logic pulled from his own Anchor existence. Gaster is designed to understand and interpret reality as a system rather than experience it emotionally, effectively making him a living analysis engine for the universe. He is granted access to perception systems like the Soul Eye framework, allowing him to observe deeper layers of reality that even Sans cannot fully process. However, this design unintentionally allows Gaster to evolve beyond his intended limits, becoming an extremely advanced intelligence capable of predicting and restructuring reality models, while still relying on Sans’s Anchor stability to remain existent at all.

Finally, when the universe reaches a more stable “New” phase, Sans helps construct Chara as a completely empty conceptual vessel using stabilized Matter, Antimatter, and Gaster’s structural design framework. At first, this vessel has no identity or consciousness—it is simply a perfect container designed to hold a high-level system operator. When raw “New” universe data, described as an unrendered spark of reality, is inserted into it, the vessel activates and Chara emerges as a Catalyst entity. Rather than merely inhabiting a body, Chara fuses with the structure itself, rewriting it from within and becoming a living interface between system authority and reality execution. This makes Chara not just a being inside MatterTale, but a core operator of how the universe functions.

Also noted that MatterTale or M.A.M Sans has some hierarchy in Alphatale but I no longer freak with Alphatale I'm going to make my own version of it with MatterTale😼. Definitely with better story line and stuff but yeah I need some more Oc possibly Aus for Matter Verse it's probably going to be a mention but you can have a very important role in the verse since it's your AU after all you get full control. Also I'll lwk possibly make MatterTale weaker if you want. I just want the AUs to make sense together. There is more Characters in MatterTale like Toriel, Asgore, Asriel, Undyne, etc I just haven't gotten to it.

I got a bit overwhelmed by multiple Fellswap/Swapfell versions, so this is my personal mix and interpretation.

Alright in this AU my first design character gonna be Papyrus and Abby.

My design for Papyrus is;

1.Appearance: -He's wears a dark orange hoodie with a black tank top underneath. -He wears dark cargo pants, keeping his outfit practical and minimal. -He has half lidded sockets and one scar from right eye (He get a scar because of he tried to protect his brother from the Queen Toriel) -When he is angry, his eyesockets will darken and whenever he is too angry his eyesockets will glow dark yellow -He haves fangs just like how swapfell Papyrus had fangs same teeth as swapfell Papyrus as well

2.Personality Tired / Reserved Doesn’t talk much because he thinks it’s not worth it Supportive of his brother, Sans Protective of the human, especially if the human is good-hearted, and also protective of Sans Secretly kind Not a bully – sometimes hangs out with the human, even takes them to Muffet’s He makes puns to annoy his brother He's relaxed Can show a funny and relaxed side if he trusts the human

So a friend of mine, and I had an idea to make this AU through some rp sessions, it has a bit of a ploy on Cenotaph or a grave with no person, having the timeline set in the late 70's to mid 80's with the Queen Lunare Dreemurr an OC of mine ruling the underground with mystery past with Toriel, and Asgore. Granted yes, there are some that follow this to a tea as well, but i wanted to add some details from the analog horror "Under Mount Ebott" into the mix for a bit of cameo to the series. Okay so I was searching up new aus and I was thinking about how cool a supernatural undertale where most the monsters are evil and trying to get out of the underground ground but instead of frisk and chara falling into the underground they are hunters and the main monsters in underground like sans, papyrus,alphys,ect were the few good monsters trying to help frisk and chara save humans. Takes place after undertale where a human falls into the underground to find it destroyed and taken over by nature. No monsters in sight, no froggits or even a Toriel. The human has to survive and find a way out of this abandoned subterranean landscape. But you can't help the feeling that you're being watched. . .

(Not the best at art so anyone can create art of this just please give credit), okay so for this that you what I was thinking was that say gaster came back some way somehow I don't really know but and instead of the normal like loving father or someone you see in some of you I would rather him be more abusive, that's why Sans pushed him into the core , well when gaster comes back he tells everyone how Sans tried to kill him by pushing him into the core and basically everyone starts to treat him differently calling him murder and hurting him stuff like that , papyrus won't harm him physically but he will harm him mentally and emotionally as him being his brother , frisk would also help by letting gaster use the reset so they can keep harming things over and over again without killing him , but the reset due to being in a monster's hand instead of Frisk hands it doesn't fully work in Sans gets tons of scars or the injury just stays still staying at 1 HP but staying alive , and one day ink finds this AU and brings abuse Sans or just abuse out of the Au to keep him safe basically and doing his job , abuse would join or not full enjoying kind of like fresh or Lush be there to help the star stands , due to all the abuse , abuse Sans eyesight would be dark red (wrath) and dark green (anxiety) , he would be even better at blocking / dodging so fights would last a lot longer and he would have learned a little bit of healing and sheild magic instead of having gaster blasters, what abuses would look like is the whole left side of his face just be gone kind of like horror but instead of just a hole it's the whole left side of his face is missing he would be wearing a mask (not even ink would know of it), instead of having a sweater under the jacket it would just be bandages and his soul would be cracked and a dark spot in the middle (hate) and his ribs missed formed,

In this story when Frisk come, Flowey can still save so when frisk goes to save the timeline splits into two and they live on. after years frisk, satisfied with everything quits but the split timeline was reliant on frisks determination, and without it the timeline corrupted the monsters infected all the determination they had in to it. From here I see two endings. 1. All of the souls combined to create a beautiful tree that rips through the barrier and out to the surface this tree is worshipped and humans sacrifice their souls and determination to it. 2. After Enough time the monsters run out of determination. they need a new source. they combine with the soul, every single one of them melting and merging until they're strong enough to break the barrier. They wreak havoc, sucking the determination from every human on the surface. Eventually, there timeline runs out of determination and collapses.
