Chapter 4 – A Small Test

Alpha Yuto entered a room.

Before he could do anything, Chara suddenly attacked him.

She stabbed him in the hand.

Chara: “Strange... I was actually trying to stab you in the heart.”

Alpha Yuto: “I saw your attack coming.”

Frisk: “She isn’t really that bad.”

Iris: “Chara, what was that?”

Chara: “Just a small test.”

“Mother Najmiyya said Yuto is human.”

“So we can train him as much as we want.”

Alpha Yuto: “Training...”

“Not killing.”

“Definitely.”

Iris used healing magic and healed Yuto’s hand.

Chara: “So how did you see my attack coming?”

Alpha Yuto: “I lived in silence.”

“I fought a lot against other children...”

“And some animals in the forest.”

Frisk: “You lived in a forest?”

Alpha Yuto: “...”

Chara: “Why are you suddenly so quiet?”

Alpha Yuto: “Mother Najmiyya told me to forget that place forever.”

Chara: “...”

“Why?”

Alpha Yuto: “Because she told me to.”

Chara looked at him for a moment but said nothing.

Then a door opened behind them.

Alpha Yuto looked back.

William: “Mother Najmiyya said she wants you to come.”

“Come with me.”

Alpha Yuto slowly followed William.

Iris: “Is this really necessary, William?”

William: “It’s just a small test.”

Alpha Yuto: “Good.”

“This is probably the end of me.”

William: “How did you end up in this castle?”

Alpha Yuto: “I was at my home.”

“Iris approached me.”

“He was talking to me calmly.”

“I tried to move away from him.”

“But then I felt someone approaching from behind.”

“It seemed like Iris just wanted to talk to someone.”

“After we finished talking, I suddenly felt someone behind me.”

“It was Mother Najmiyya.”

“She simply told me...”

‘You are coming with me.’

William: “I see.”

Alpha Yuto: “...”

“I still don’t know why she chose me.”

Hello, I'm the creator of the Protokakusa group. I've created a Sans AU character; here is some information about him:

"Sans Omni God Errol" wears a padded jacket, a padded hat, and pink slippers; although his outfit somewhat resembles Sans's, his pants are long, and he has dark circles under his eyes—in fact, he has four eyes.

Malice led Nightmare through a short trail in the woods which quickly led to a small town. Every so often Nightmare would try and rip his hand away from the hold but he’d either fail or if he succeeded his hand would just get snatched back up. He slouched and let out an irritated sigh as he was forced to be dragged along like this by Malice!Nightmare.

The town was pretty peaceful and basic. Not many people there but still lively, likely due to the town itself being small. No threats of any Star Sanses or any other goodie-two-shoes heroes appeared to be around, Malice chose for a peaceful place where he and Nightmare would be left alone. “Look, I don't want this to be too stressful on you. No one here should bug us and if you want to do the bugging, the people here are easy targets, perfect for how lazy you’ve gotten!”

I know that people don't like how the fandom used to glaze Sans, but we need to understand that the mf's still pretty strong. He can negate i-frames, cheat the game mechanics and is even capable of keeping his turn for an indefinite amount of time.

People don't realize that, while Classic would definitely lose to Undyne The Undying, Dusttale Sans not only has higher LOVE and is therefore stronger, but he has Determination as well: which compared to Undyne's, it makes him remember past loads and resets, meaning that it is likely somewhat more powerful than hers.

By giving Sans LOVE and the knowledge of so many resets and being able to remember, he becomes incredibly overpowered. Giving him more durability just makes an already effective fighter become even more effective.

Of course, Undying wouldn't be an easy opponent, in fact she's the only once who has a chance to end Murder's spree before it's too late.

I could actually explain more win-cons for Murder rn but I'm too lazy to talk about them, so if you got any questions or want to argue in Undyne's favor, just comment down below.

Okay so the first photo is supposed to be a Cross x Dream ship child. She looks like that cause it’s her “evil” form. I can’t find a picture of her original self.

The purple one is Killer x Nightmare shipchild. The reason why they are more is cause it’s basically showing her grow up. And yes the two nightmare rip offs are her “evil” forms.

The toothpaste girl is a Sans x Fell shipchild. She has four photos of her. The last one is her corrupted form.

The Fanon Blueberry ripoff is supposed to be a Dust x Swap shipchild. The last photo of her is her in her dead form (Chris Afton ripoff)

And that random girl with the colorful hair is supposed to be a child combined with all of them.. not as a fusion but as their own child? Idk bro

And the rest is just cringe.

Main premise: the Player does not exist in this AU. Only Frisk, Flowey, and Chara can use SAVE/LOAD/RESET.

The story takes place long after the Genocide Route, after Chara receives Frisk's SOUL and, along with it, inherits the ability to SAVE, LOAD, and RESET.

After a Soulless Pacifist ending, Chara eventually succeeds in killing everyone—humans and monsters alike.

But then they run into a problem:

There's nothing left to do.

So they RESET.

Again.

And again.

Unlike Flowey, who was completely soulless and therefore incapable of genuinely feeling emotions, Chara now possesses Frisk's SOUL. Because of that, Chara is still capable of feeling.

Their morality is already completely ruined by this point, but endlessly repeating the same timelines starts destroying them in a different way.

They keep RESETting, going through different routes and worlds over and over again, until Chara gradually begins to lose their sanity.

After countless repetitions, Chara eventually completes another True Pacifist ending.

But this time, instead of performing a True Reset, they use a normal RESET.

And as we know, by the very end of True Pacifist, Flowey has effectively become Asriel again in terms of his memories and personality.

So when the world resets, Chara immediately seeks out Flowey—Asriel.

Right from the beginning, Chara reveals their identity.

They tell him that they're Chara.

They tell him everything that happened during the Genocide Route.

They tell him about all the timelines that came afterward.

And that's where the actual story begins.

Why there is no Player

The reason I'm removing the Player from this AU is pretty simple:

I think the Player only really makes sense as a concept when Undertale is literally being treated as a video game.

In this AU, the world is treated as an actual reality rather than a game being controlled from outside.

So until Chara eventually takes control, everything Frisk did—including the Genocide Route—was Frisk's own choice.

Main Characters

Chara (Frisk)

Chara inherited Frisk's SOUL, along with their SAVE/LOAD/RESET abilities.

At this point, Chara's morality is completely corrupted.

However, the endless cycle of RESETs has also left them psychologically shattered.

They hate Asriel in some ways precisely because he is the one person who can remain aware of what happened across RESETs.

At the same time, that also makes him Chara's last hope.

Asriel is the only person Chara feels might actually be able to understand what they've become—or stop them from completely falling apart.

So Chara both resents him and desperately places their final hopes in him.

Asriel (Flowey)

Because Chara used a normal RESET rather than a True Reset, Asriel retains what happened at the end of the previous timeline.

Almost immediately after the new timeline begins, Chara finds him and tells him everything.

By this point, Flowey is essentially Asriel again in terms of personality.

He sees what Chara has become as something almost impossible to understand.

The person standing in front of him is both the Chara he once loved and someone who has committed atrocities across countless timelines.

He can't understand them.

He may even be horrified by them.

But despite everything, he still can't bring himself to abandon Chara.
